Are you lonely tonight, do you miss them?
Are you lonely now that they have gone?
Saying goodbye is never easy.
When you don’t know when they may return.
They are the people you love most dearly
The ones you call Dad and Mum.
Are you anxious till you have that phone call,
Saying they have arrived safe and sound.
Are you lonely now the longed-for visit is over?
Don’t be, start planning for the next joyful one.
