Halloween is on its way.
Mr Owl said, “The witches are stirring up their brew of horrid pongs and really nice smells.
To cast about when flying by on their brooms, giving scary cries.”

Tricks not too unkind have to be planned,
treats deliciously tasteful bought to leave on doorsteps for others to find..
Or when you greet them in the street,
and ask, ‘ trick or treat.’

Tonight is the night, spooks and witches reign.
We dress up in black, with dangling cobwebs and spiders firmly fixed.
Pumpkins with glowing eyes in baskets or on sticks. Tummies full, you have had so much to eat.
Screeches ring out, as you ask, ‘ trick or treat.’
Twit to woo, Halloween has now slipped by it is time to say goodnight everyone.
