I awoke this morning, ready to go.
What to do? Where to go? I don’t yet know.
The sun is peeping through the window, encouraging me out.
I linger a little longer, puzzling out a rota.
There are things demanding attention I really ought to do.
Yet the sunshine is enticing me outdoors
For fresh air, and interesting conversations.
Oh, what to do? Where to go? I still don’t know.
I soon will thought, as sunshine has been such a rarity.
I think the outdoors is going to win.
Chores can be left till after dark, before bed.
There—decision now made, guilt free. I can go out.
