CHATTERBOX
I used to be a chatterbox, chatted night and day!
Always had to have my say.
One day a sports injury damaged my mouth.
Not one word, could I utter, I was miserable.
At first, I longed to join in, before finding a new delight.
I became a listener. A new world opened for me.
What a maze of information I would have missed, if silence had not claimed me.
Now it is sheer bliss, to quietly listen to you chaps.
